"In terms of reversible colopathy vs transient colitis, the term colopathy refers to the subepithelial hemorrhage and edema whereas the colitis refers to ulceration. The subepihelial hemorrahge may be resorbed in the first 3 days or the epthelium may ulcerate forming a colitis which is usuaully transient"
